FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard fee is $200/hour. I am not accepting insurance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a brief phone conversation to assess how well the needs of the client fit my expertise and training. Following the determination of fit, I schedule the first appointment with clients over the phone. I send out a confirmation email with relevant paperwork for the client to complete prior to our first meeting. Our first meeting is spent discussing in depth the presenting issues and goals for our work together. I take a very collaborative approach in my work and expect my clients to be invested and willing to work outside of our time together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My college career started with me receiving a bachelor's in psychology with a minor in business administration. I went on to receive my Master's and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Michigan State University with an emphasis on working with adults individually and in groups. My predoctoral and postdoctoral supervised clinical training occurred in the US Navy, where I also received formal leadership training. I have been a business owner for over 12 years and have seen hundreds of clients in private practice. I received additional graduate training and earned my Master's of Science in Organization Development through Pepperdine University, giving me additional education and training relevant to working with organizations, executives, and leaders both domestically and internationally.
