- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Initial Phone Consultation - FREE! On-site consultation - available for clients in the Phoenix area; price depends on how many rooms we are consulting on and the distance of the property from our office E-Design - starts at $150 per room (this price is lower or higher depending on what the client's design needs are and what rooms they need help with) Full Service Design - this price is determined after we assess the scope of the project and complete an on-site visit
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we assess what the client's design needs are. If they are just looking for initial ideas and inspiration (a plan!), we work in the world of E-design. If they want something more hands-on where we take care of everything for the project, we offer Full Service Design. E-DESIGN: First the client fills out a survey to give us some details about the project. Then they provide us with measurements and photos of the space (on-site visits are available for clients in the Phoenix area for an additional fee - the fee includes travel & time measuring/ taking photos/ consulting). Next we have the client provide us with Pinterest boards &/ or inspirational photos. Then we start designing!! E-design plans include layouts (to-scale drawings), design boards and product lists/ sources. We present these to the client and offer one free revision, if needed. From there the client takes the plans and implements them in their space(s)! FULL SERVICE DESIGN: (Only for clients in the Phoenix area) Similar to E-design starting with the survey and a phone consultation. We do an initial on-site visit to take photos and measurements (included with Full Service Design!) We hammer out any details and create a proposal for the project. Once the proposal is signed we move forward with gathering inspiration (Pinterest boards & photos) from the client. We start designing!! Layouts, design boards and products are all presented to the client. We make revisions as needed (multiple revisions included!) and once the plans are approved we start implementing them! We take care of everything - ordering, installation and hiring/ coordinating/ working with contractors to finish the space(s). The last step?? .... ENJOY YOUR NEW SPACE!!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My husband David, the Hello Home Co. co-owner & business manager, and I flip homes in the Phoenix area. He would make the business decisions (budget, timeline, margins, etc.) and I would do all the design and real estate work. We have continued to renovate our own properties while we work with clients to renovate or refresh their spaces!
