FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
John Luckow started his surveying career right out of high school, in 1970. Since his father, Tom Luckow was also a land surveyor, first registered in California in 1959, then later in Arizona, he assisted his dad early on. John first went to work full time for a Tucson firm, then later, in 1976 began working with his father. So you could say John's career started with his dad.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We recommend hiring a land surveyor who is a member in good standing with the Arizona Professional Land Surveyors, the only such society in the State of Arizona. The web site is azpls.org. Click on the link entitled "How to hire a Land Surveyor", which can assist you in selecting your surveyor. There is also a directory listing with search capabilities to find a surveyor in your area. We believe that through the APLS, a client has the best chance to be certain on hiring a reputable firm. John Luckow, the President of Arizona Surveying, Inc. has been a member of the APLS since 1982. He is currently a Director for APLS. The organization was chartered in 1979. Tom Luckow RLS, John's father, was a Charter Member.
