I have chronic sciatica and am very particular about who touches my back. I needed someone who I fully trusted and knew what they were doing. Who better than someone who teaches Massage at an award winning school?! Aurianna's healing abilities have always brought me relief. Intertwining massage with intuitive healing, my back is always looser and "lighter" after a massage by Aurianna. She actively listens as I verbalize my body's issues and offers not only phsyical healing but emotional guidance as well. (the two are closely connected) This last time was the most amazing. After a week and a half of adjustments with a chiropractor, I went to her barely able to use my right leg because of a tight IT band. I was walking lopsided because the IT band had affected my hip. Aurianna suggested a shorter massage that was localized on the IT band and hip. In 30 minutes, she had managed to work out kinks and persuaded my peraformis and IT band to release. She then showed me which points to press on if it started tightening again. I was walking upright and the IT band had loosened!! That was three days ago and I'm 95% to walking normally once again. Aurianna's work not only undid some of my chiro's overadjustment but released the tightness that had caused my lopsideness and tense IT band. I can not thank her enough! Aurianna is the first massage therapist I turn to when my body needs some TLC.

This was my first ReikI session and wasn't sure what to expect but what a great experience! I felt lighter mentally and emotionally afterwards and I can feel the benefits. I plan on making a follow up session soon!

Licenses are renewed every 2 years with 24 hours of continuing education required within that 2-year period.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After experiencing the benefits of massage and other holistic therapies for myself, I knew that I wanted to help others to have the same experience. I am dedicated to assisting my clients to live more fulfilled lives.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Massage Therapists have a great deal of training. It's not only massage, but also anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, etc. I have 1000 hours of training in massage and have been a licensed therapist since 2007. In addition I have over 100 hours training as a Life Coach and another 100 hours of training in Reiki.
