We met with Ingo yesterday and we were so very pleased with what he had our dog Daisy, a 2 yr. old Golden, doing in such a short time. She would leash pull and lunge at other dogs, bark and jump up on people. He trained Daisy and me with what to do and it really is working even with just one session. We will be practicing a lot every day. Ingo is very professional, arrived on time and followed up with us. I will be recommending him to a lot of our friends. He is a fantastic dog trainer.

Today I had my first session with Ingo. I have three dogs, two older German Shepherds and a young Golden Retriever mix. We worked with each dog individually and after each interaction all three were definitely better than before starting the session. The biggest effect was my training! Ingo transformed me from Dog Dad to Dog Teacher! I cannot wait for tomorrow to continue working with the dogs and myself with the homework. I am also looking forward to immersing myself on his website with all the training videos. Ingo was very patient and engaging. He made sure to thoroughly explain the why behind everything we were doing. I truly felt like he was laying the solid foundation to build our training on until we achieve our goals.

My boyfriend and I recently had our signature (first) session with Ingo and the experience was amazing! Before the session, Ingo spent over 30 minutes with me on the phone going over what our current issues are, what our goals are, and how he structures his trainings. Ingo came in very prepared and started by sitting down with us outlining what the next 90 minutes would look like and setting clear expectations. We had a full 90 minutes of watching Ingo work with our dog and then hands on training where we learned how to handle him. Within one session, we've seen significant changes in our dog that have lasted even after Ingo left. We never felt any pressure to commit to a training plan but definitely knew we wanted to continue working with him. He was clear, respectful, and the best priced dog trainer in the Valley. After one session, Ingo provides access to his online learning portal, giving us great resources to continue training on our own in between sessions. You also have access to resources like his amazon store front, training videos, and Ingo himself who has already followed up with additional texts after our session. I'd recommend Ingo to any dog owners looking to improve their relationship with their dog(s)!

We had a great experience with Exceptional Canines in home training . After 2 weeks with the virtual training we received my dog was pretty much trained . All we did was follow the instructions and protocols we were giving . Very professional definitely recommend.

Ingo has been an amazing dog trainer. He immediately improved the behavior of my dog, as well as my understanding of dog behavior. We worked on leash manners for the most part. My dog went from yanking at the leash, to being able to walk right at my side and listen to direction. He adapted quickly to my dogs needs and personalized the training accordingly. Ingo taught me games I can play with my dog to help build those necessary foundations for improvement. I feel I've come out better after this first session. I'm able to understand why dogs do what they do and how to properly lead and command them. Even after just one session my confidence level with walking my dog has skyrocketed. I would 100% recommend Ingo to anyone who needs help with behavior correction.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined after we make an appointment for our 90 minute initial consultation, training, and assessment. There is no way to quote a price. There is travel time to consider, how many dogs need to be trained. Puppy programs are different than aggression programs or separation anxiety, and Potty Training is different than Basic Obedience and Citizen Good Manners Training.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our signature in-home dog training programs are proven science based behavior change methods that promote physical activity, mental stimulation and, most importantly change in the desired behavior you're hiring us for! So we will always do initial consultations, training and assessments of clients dogs first. Then design the programs for each case that is customized to the family, goals and needs of each owner.
