I highly recommend TropiCool! I needed a complete duct replacement, and Brady, the owner, responded immediately—even on a Sunday morning. Before contacting TropiCool, I had received seven quotes. Before I bought this mobile it had been remodeled from a three-bedroom to a two-bedroom, and I was struggling to cool the front part of the house where the remodel occurred. I repeatedly told other companies I was missing a duct, but no one could pinpoint the issue. One company mentioned rust but couldn’t find the missing duct. Then Juan, TropiCool’s work foreman, came out and located the elusive duct immediately and discovered it wasn’t capped and had significant rust. TropiCool quoted me a price that was less than half of what other companies had offered. Brady was incredibly easy to talk to, and Juan and his crew spent an entire day correcting previous installation mistakes and installing a fully new duct system. They were thorough, professional, and respectful, taking the time to answer all my questions clearly and without any trace of attitude. If you’re a woman, this company is an excellent choice. I never felt taken advantage of or pressured into buying something I didn’t need. For example, one company tried to upsell me on a completely new mini-split system costing over $15,000—nice, but not realistic on a fixed income, and I had just bought a brand-new heat pump a year ago. Instead, TropiCool respected my budget and needs. I felt valued throughout the entire process, with no condescension or gimmicks. Now, my new duct system is properly installed, and my year-old 3-ton unit can finally do its job. The difference in my home’s comfort and cleanliness is night and day! I can’t say enough good things about TropiCool—this was an exceptionally positive experience!

I had two failing ac units and wanted something different than what everyone was pushing and limited equipment options. I acquired my own equipment having a high level understanding of hvac and needed to maximize performance and budget. I reached out to several companies willing to handle the install on Thumbtack. Not all companies will do it. Tropical was on board and undertood the task at hand. It’s a lot of money any time something like this fails. Tropical was really fair with me and no surprises. They had great communication and was willing to start that day. We scheduled a day out so I could be on site. Thumbtack worked great to forward info back and forth so they had input and clarity.
