I will start with saying that Jerry started off great. He showed up on time and started the work as agreed upon. I hired Jerry on Thumbtack for a friend of mine who just bought a house in LaGrange, as he was performing the work we noticed that the toilets and tubs were slow draining and we told Jerry about it he advised that he can rent a snake rotor machine from Home Depot and that should fix it we agreed my friend put her name and credit card on the machine and Jerry picked it up and was supposed to return it the following day. 2 days later, we got a call from Home Depot saying the machine was not returned, and when we called Jerry, he stopped picking up his phone and was not returning any calls or texts. we were advised to call the police which we did after the sheriff's got a hold of him he then returned the machine to his location which is in Alabama we advised him not to do this that it has to be returned to the Home Depot where it was picked up from in lagrange. My friend was charged an extra $400 in late return fees . We are extremely disappointed by his poor communication and lack of respect for the situation. I don't mind giving anyone a second chance, especially someone like him who is an ex-convict and drug addict. It is a shame that he has ruined his reputation and his business. I would never ever recommend him to anyone moving forward.
