What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an assessment of the leveling of the subfloor. Check to see if plywood needs to be replaced or concrete needs leveling. Check for moisture and put moisture barrier down if necessary. Add underlayment if needed or required. Then, install the new flooring as to manufacturer specifications. Finishing off the installation with the expansion cord to allow the flooring to expand and contract as needed. Then, finish the room with baseboards or foot molds if requested.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trained by a professional installer and contractor with 25 years of experience. I have installed 30 floors off and on for the past 15 years.
