- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We give upfront project pricing. The price of a project will only change if there is significant unforeseen issues with the subfloor which sometimes can't be determined until the existing flooring is removed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we start the process with a phone conversation to understand our customer's needs. From there we schedule time for a consultation (free) where we measure the areas and bring 3000+ samples in our mobile showroom to the customer's residence. If we are able to agree on a solution, budget, and product that meets their needs we order the product. Once the product arrives we schedule the professional installation. We don't collect a final payment until the customer is completely satisfied with their new floors.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We wanted to start a local business in the home services area where we could help others in our area. Floor Coverings International is a great company with wonderful support and training which is what led us to opening our flooring store.
