Introduction

We are a small local moving company who will take the load off our customers back. Our customers will know we care about them and their personal items when we are done with the move. We work by the hour at a rate of $125.00/hr for two men. There is also a one-time truck and travel fee of $100. If we’re just loading or unloading, then we only charge a 50.00 travel fee. We will have on hand shrink wrap, padding, dollies, and tools to assist with disassembly and reassembly of items if needed. We have a 1.5 hour minimum. After the 1.5 hours, we prorate charges into 15-minute increments. There is an extra charge for large items such as pianos, gun safes, hot tubs, etc. Some larger items do require a 3rd man. Each additional man is $35.00 extra per hour. This estimate is based on the information provided in the request. If we have overlooked something or there are other factors that would change the estimate (such as multiple stops, the floor which the apartment/condo is on, etc.) please let us know. L and L Moving provided the best services for us which made for an excellent move experience! I set up the job through Lee. He was pleasant and prompt in his communications with me from the start and through to completion. Our job entailed a move for an elderly relative from a 2 room apartment into an assisted living room. We had pre packed most items and L and L moved all furniture, two room sized carpets, and the items we had packed. The three men on the crew were Gene, Wes, and Ryan. Gene (as the lead) called an hour before his arrival. He explained the paperwork, the charges which were detailed as Lee had initially set them with me, and then asked if I had any questions or special requests. The three of them worked together seamlessly and with great care in wrapping and packing the possessions to be moved. They carefully moved the items into the new room and placed them where I requested. When all was moved in they had me look around in case there was anything else I needed them to do! They were very thoughtful, considerate, personable and professional! We finished up the paperwork with Gene and they were on their way to their next job. In my opinion, these guys were Grade A! They went above and beyond my expectations and are greatly appreciated for a great job, for a great rate, and a super experience. We will definitely call them again for future moves and give them a solid recommendation!

I had to have an entire bedroom set moved from two different locations to my storage facility in Biloxi. The bed came from storage in Ocean Springs, and the rest of the bedrooms that had to be picked up at my son-in-law’s apartment, where he had been storing it for me. My husband and I moved out I thought four-bedroom house in Marietta Georgia in April. We had all of our belongings transferred down here to be stored, as we are planning to buy a house here as soon as our house is sold. Because I was under a lot of pressure, I didn’t make real good decisions about who to use for our moving. Let’s just say I chose poorly. To say the move was an unmitigated nightmare is understating it. But they did finally get our belongings packed and moved to our storeroom in Biloxi. My son-in-law was storing some of this furniture for me, and he is moving so I needed to get it out of his apartment. L&L Moving went above and beyond my expectations. Even though there were two stops before we got to our final location, they moved everything quickly and efficiently. And they protected everything, something the previous movers did not do. I had told Lee that this was their “audition,” as I was going to once again use them for the final move to our house should I be pleased with their service. They did not disappoint! They were courteous, professional, cautious, and efficient. Best of all, the bill turned out to be less than I thought it would be. I highly recommend L & L Moving should you need someone to move your items locally. This team was great and one of the best I’ve ever worked with.

Lee's guys were extremely professional and did a great job. They listen to you and make sure they do not damage your furniture. The guys were also constantly on the move did not waste time and completed the move quickly and within the estimated time.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fees are estimates at a fair and reasonable price. There are additional charges such as truck and travel fee, piano and safe fees. The base hourly rate is for 2 men and all the equipment they will bring such as dollies, padding, shrink wrap and tools to assist with disassembly and reassembly of items.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new customers, we love to make contact with them...get to know them and allow them to get to know us and what our company has to offer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a Training Manager with Two Men and a Truck for 10 years in Daphne and Pensacola. Alot of the trainees are now working for me. It is not uncommon to find me on the job site with the men helping and talking with the customers.
