- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price per-job (bid system).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We initially do a walk through with each potential customer so that we can meet them face to face and hear exactly what it is they want done, then I prepare an estimate and send it to them with a welcome packet including all of our company policies and info. If the bid is accepted, we schedule the first cleaning (& routine cleans thereafter, if applicable) & proceed with service. For lawn care, we either need to see photos of the work required or we do an on-site estimate with the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As stated above, I've been cleaning for 30 years! I also hold an operator's license in the cosmetology field that I've kept current for 17 years, which requires me to take continuing education courses in safety and sanitation procedures for dealing with the public, every two years. This is helpful even in my cleaning business. My husband and partner is safety- certified through NCCER and knows all of the laws and regulations required by OSHA, etc. We are safety-oriented!
