FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The prices vary according to the student's goals (eg conversation only or working on all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing), the student's level and the frequency of lessons (the hourly rate is cheaper for people studying 5 hours per week than only one hour per week).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first set up a meeting during which we talk about the customer's needs, likes and dislikes, learning strategies etc. This helps me create a lesson plan that will fit my customer's objectives. As I teach the first classes, I learn more about my student and I establish a pace and progress in the lessons accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in teaching French as a foreign language. I have a bachelor's degree in Foreign languages, literature and civilizations (German, English and Spanish). I have studied several foreign languages like Japanese, Chinese and Nepali, along with the previously mentioned European languages.
