Cooking Block is where the community comes together. Our classes are more than just learning how to make something; they are a cultural enriching experience, a social experience and a culinary growing experience. We teach principles and techniques not recipes. We have deep respect for food. This is seen in the high quality ingredients we choose and how we help you to identify with these ingredients, how utilize them properly and how to present them beautifully to your family and friends. Many of our adult evening classes are paired with beautiful wines from our in-house sommelier that enhance the enjoyment of the dishes you prepare.
Every day is different! We have 50+ programs and growing. Skill building program of all levels. Unique, prospective-changing programs for kids. Over 10 specific pastry and baking programs. World culture programs from five continents: From Asia we have programs that feature specific regions or cuisines of China, Japan, Vietnam, and India. From Europe; Italy, Spain, France, and Germany. From North America: Cuba, Mexico, Cajun/Creole, New England, Napa. From South America: Brazil, Peru, Argentina. From Africa: Eastern and Western Africa. We also have comprehensive home economic programs.
