There is no option to give 4.5 stars, but that is how I would review my experience with Azria & Bruffet. Plain and simple, I was facing a speeding ticket (87mph in a 65) that carried with it a fine of up to $300, court surcharges of up to $93, and 6 points on my license- which equated to an insurance spike of around $2500 (in addition to what I have normally been paying for insurance) over the course of the next three years. Added all up, that amounted to $2893, or about $3000. I called Azria & Bruffett two or three days after I received this ticket, left a voicemail explaining what had happened (I called after the office had closed), and received a call back the very next morning (I believe Seth Azria returned my call at 9:00am on the dot). Seth explained that, for $300, Azria & Bruffett would act as my authority in court- i.e. defend me and my rights in court while I sat at home 1,000 miles away watching tv- and would fight to, at the very least, reduce my (essentially) $3000 speeding ticket to a less costly violation, or at best, make the ticket go away entirely. A & B's paralegals were very involved throughout the entire process, keeping me updated on the status of my ticket and emailing me necessary forms that needed my signature and information all along the way. Two days ago, I received an email from Monica (one of A & B's helpful paralegals) stating that A & B successfully reduced my speeding ticket to a "muffler violation," which carried with it a fine of $95, court surcharges amounting to $63, and no points on my license (so $158 sub-total). Thus, including the $300 principle payment to A & B for their services, this ticket ended up costing me $458. Hiring A & B, therefore, saved me a little over $2500, and all I had to do was reply to a few emails and mail out a couple of forms. The only reason I am not giving A & B five stars is because, at the end of the day, even though I'm very pleased with the outcome, they didn't make my ticket go away- I still had to pay the additional $158- and out of respect for any other firm that might have been able to successfully convince the court to drop ALL of the charges against me, I won't give 5/5 stars to a firm that didn't produce 5/5 star results. As I said earlier, I would give A & B 4.5/5 stars if that were an option, but it isn't, so I'm giving them 4/5. Nevertheless, unless you absolutely need all charges dropped, A & B is a rational and economically responsible choice for legal representation.

This lawyer did a great job, I got some tickets that would have suspended my license, and he got it down to no points. He did an outstanding job and I am more than pleased. This could have raised my insurance, I really appreciate his help on this matter. He has very reasonable rates as well!

I got a ticket on Interstate I-90 in upstate NY for speeding at 91 mph in 65 mph Zone.It was a ticket for 6 points and $ 800-$1400 in fines.But thanks to Azria & Buffett. They reduced it to 2 points and $193 in fine.They are really professional.I never had to go there personally and they just informed me after couple of months that the issue has been resolved. We accept essentially all forms of payments and offer a discount for students and military.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a traffic ticket, the process is very simple. We take the legal fee for traffic tickets up front and, for many clients, that means a credit card over the phone while talking to the lawyer. For a single speeding or cell phone ticket you can hire us right online through the website without talking to anyone. Once the fee is paid, the vast majority of clients will only be required to respond to a few of emails. No court appearances or communication with the court is usually required. For DWI and criminal cases, we like to meet you in the office and are generally available at your convenience.
