- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer group classes or private training, and we can even give you a huge head start with our ‘stay and train’ programs where your dog stays in a home environment for the initial training, which saves you from having to do the hardest part!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We initially like to discuss with our customer what they would like to get out of dog training. We discuss current problem areas and strengths and I do a preliminary assessment. Often, I give some trainer tips to help with immediate areas of concern. The next step involves either a free evaluation at our facility or, if that is not necessary, we schedule an appointment that works best for the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Between us we have trained under a well respected service/ therapy dog instructor for several years at the advanced level. Lizzie has her certification in Scent Training. Lizzie also has her Puppy Training Certificate from Karen Pryer Academy. I have my Clicker Training Certificate from Karen Pryer Academy. We are both currently enrolled in dog training continuing education courses. We also have several awards and certifications we have earned with dogs we have tested with, including: SPOT ON, Canine Good Citizen and Canine Good Citizen Advanced, TDI, and agility trials. Lizzie is an intern at a service dog agency as well.
