Run, don't walk, to hire Janey Hicks. Her fellow worker is her husband, Joseph, a loving couple to complement your wedding buffet. This is a small, family business with the customer service you no longer find in many places any more. She will add-on any service you require, such as bartender or tableware rental, and she informs you in advance of costs associated with each additional service. You control the costs with no surprises. The food she served at our wedding buffet was original and delicious, her presentation carefully in keeping with the tenor of the wedding. One of the most valuable services she presents is the calming voice of experience, informed by the different personalities of the many weddings she has served. You don't need a wedding planner. You need Janey Hicks!

Janey was wonderful to work with for our birthday gathering. She had plenty of options to choose from, with offers to make anything custom that we wanted. She arrived at our house, on time and well-prepared with directions and serving supplies. We got lots of compliments on the food, and I will definitely contact her again when we are in need of catering.

Gatherings services are specifically designed to meet the individual needs of each client. We have basic pricing, but we work very hard to meet your needs within your budget and vision for your event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gatherings (owner Janey Hicks) typically will have a phone conference or personal meeting with the perspective client to get a detailed profile of the specific needs of each event. After the info is gathered a quote can be given and our services booked if we can meet the clients needs. We use a very comprehensive process to plan down to the smallest detail, so that nothing is overlooked and your event is fabulous!

Janey has 30 plus years of event planning and catering for friends, family, churches, businesses, and clients.
