FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All lessons are 50 min in length and cost $30 per lesson. A package discount can be arranged on a student by student basis. First-time students will receive a $10 discount on their trial lesson to account for time discussing goals and repertoire. The cost of sheet music and professional accompaniment (if desired) will be assessed in addition to the lesson fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will spend the first few minutes of an initial lesson with a student figuring out what their goals are and what training they may have received up to this point. An average lesson will include work on proper technique and vocalise, then progress to work repertoire and performance practice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied voice performance at the University of Southern California and received my Bachelors of Music in 2016. While at USC I studied with Rod Gilfry, Angela Blasi and Don Brinegar. I have also performed at the Aspen Summer Music Festival in Aspen Colorado while studying with renowned vocal technician Dr. Stephen Smith. I am pursuing my Masters of Music at Northwestern University in the Fall of 2017 where I will continue my work with Dr. Smith.
