I first met Ed as a consultant whom my brother - the CEO of our company - hired to restructure our organization and transform our small "family business" into a streamlined multi-million dollar operation. During this process, I told Ed about my work at StreetCode Academy, a program working to bring diversity into tech companies by offering free tech training to the East Palo Alto community. Google's filled with smart people but Ed stood out as a leader who was not only strategically and analytically brilliant but someone who authentically and passionately cared about helping others. Specifically, Ed was able to give me strategic and timely feedback when I was trying to influence global stakeholders who spanned various levels and roles. Ed has the rare skill of having full 'optics' into scenarios that may not be clear to others, he connects dots quickly, and then distills invaluable insights that can be actioned. I recommend Ed as an organizational leader or consultant in various spaces as he's one of those brilliant "general athletes."
