Hi, my name is John Bertinetti. Welcome to my page! I am a master of standardized tests, with numerous 99th percentile scores (1560 SAT, 337 GRE, 770 GMAT, 175 LSAT). For several years my intuitive, common-sense approach has helped students from a wide variety of backgrounds achieve the scores they need. I am also a Graduate Statistician of the Royal Statistical Society and hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics. I can help you ace your math or statistics course. Working with him for the GMAT prep helped me gain essential skills including time saving skills on the test. I had the pleasure of working with John and I cannot recommend him highly enough! He tailored our sessions to my specific needs and goals. Although I only had two sessions with John, he was great to work with! He caters to your specific needs and really works with you on achieving your academic goals. I was planning on having John as my tutor for 3 months in hopes of getting accepted to graduate school. However, I got accepted early on which is why we only had two session. But in the sessions I had with John, he really broke the material down for me in a way that I could understand it based on how I learn best. If you need any tutoring for any testing, John is the guy to go to!! He is very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable during our sessions, even when I felt like I was asking dumb questions!

In order to prepare for the GRE I asked John to help me three weeks before the test. With his help I was able to achieve some of my highest scores in both practice and when I actually took the test. If you need help with the GRE I would highly recommend asking John for help as he is a great tutor.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $160 per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually my first step is to go over work the student has already done to try to diagnose problem areas. Once we identify weaknesses, we devote sessions to them--reviewing concepts, doing practice problems together, etc. I have a flexible approach, since students' needs vary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received top scores on all the exams I tutor (770 GMAT, 170q/167v GRE, 175 LSAT). I am also a Graduate Statistician of the Royal Statistical Society and hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics.
