- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is competitive. It reflects the quality workmanship, service and materials I provide and the newest tech available on the market I use. Small jobs are rated hourly, large ones by square foot. I provide FREE in-home consultations (free estimates). FREE Bona Cleaning Kit is provided with every updated floor. Military discounts apply. Local (Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Mission Valley, Clairemont, Linda Vista, Bay Park, Hillcrest, North Park ) discounts apply.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) an initial, in-home consultation is scheduled 2) written cost estimate is submitted via email 3)for new floors, delivery of flooring is scheduled in timely advance in order to acclimate the product properly in the home of the client 4) introduce the clients to the exact steps I take to complete the project before the work begins, so there are no surprises and their daily activities around the work schedule can be planned 5) once the job is completed, we perform a walk through, answer any arising questions and decide whether there is any detail left to address 6) I advice the client about floor maintenance, and train them in the use of the cleaning kits we provide to ensure their new investment in their home stays protected
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
1) engineering diploma in woodworking industrial engineering, and 2) engineering diploma in forest management from a European university 3) numerous training courses at Bona USA, the Swedish industry leader in flooring technology, equipment and urethane finish manufacturer 4) regular attendance of annual floor coverings industry expos around the nation 5) networking with other flooring professionals around the country to stay informed of the latest product and technological innovations 6) completion of California State courses and certification requirements to become a licensed flooring contractor.
