I'm a graduate of Yale University and have been tutoring students professionally since 2010. I have helped middle school, high school, and college students boost their performance in coursework and on standardized testing. I have more than 7 years of experience tutoring students taking the ACT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests (Math I, Math II, Physics, Chemistry, Literature), GRE, ISEE, SSAT, Catholic School Exams, SHSAT, and Hunter College High School Test. I have also worked with students as they progress through their school work to improve their writing, math, and science skills. I can tutor math through high school calculus, English and essay writing for middle school, high school, and college essay writing, high school chemistry, physics, history, and civics. I have also worked extensively with students on college application essays. My middle school students have gone on to get into Collegiate, Horace Mann, Dalton, Riverside, Stuyvesant, and Hunter College High School. My high school students have gone on to Harvard, Columbia, Georgetown, University of Chicago, and Vassar among others. **Recommendations and parent/student testimonials are available upon request. The best part of my job is when I work with a student over the course of several years. Most teachers shepherd their kids through a year of school and then don't see them again. I have worked with some students for as long as six or seven years, watching them grow and learn.
