FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $200/hour to meet a student in person in Manhattan below 110th street or in Williamsburg or Brooklyn heights. I charge $150/hour for Skype or digital meetings.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I normally meet potential students for a half-price first session to see if we get along and will work well together. If that works out well, then I try to set up a weekly or biweekly meeting time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale. I grew up in the Bay and took remote math and physics courses from Stanford, which is why I still tutor those subjects. I tutored the LSATs for Kaplan in Chicago before moving to New York, where I started tutoring more generally. I also did half of a masters degree in fiction at Columbia, but had to drop out to shoot a TV show.
