FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts for returning customers, and I understand trying to work within a budget. Reach out and let's talk; I want to help your ideas come to life in a way that works for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally send a welcome package first, which contains more details about how I work, as well as a checklist for new clients so we can start with the same expectations of the finished product. I believe few things are more important than trust, accountability, and clear communication, so I start from a position of transparency so you know exactly what you can expect from me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in English, Education, and Mathematics, as well as significant project and event management experience. In addition to writing content for a wide range of clients I also co-founded and co-direct Endless Trails—a 501(c)3 trails and conservation non-profit—with my wife, Kerri. We both have a soft spot for mountains, alpine lakes, and wild places across the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West, and Endless Trails is our way of trying to protect those places and stand-up for the things that are important to us. Before fully embracing Endless Trails and freelance writing full-time, I worked in education, as well as in outdoor event and project management. All of these experiences provide depth and variety to my writing, and I enjoy putting that depth and variety to work in all of my projects.
