FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have a standard pricing system. We have a set labor rate, material cost, and time allotment for each job. So, the way we have it priced, we give you a cost for the job and that is the cost to complete. It is a set price built in with all the variables. Taxes are included in all of our bids so we do not raise the price almost 10% after the job is completed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We treat every call with the highest priority and we only handle one call at a time. We never rush from job to job. At the end of the day, for us, it is not about how many calls we completed, but how many customers we made happy. We call each customer to set up the appointment, then we call to verify the appointment the day of, and finally we call when a technician is on their way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for business at Midwestern State University. When I got out I realized I did not want an office job so I started a small handyman service. From there I got on with a large apartment management firm and that is when I fell in love with Air Conditioning and Heating service. I was a natural. So I decided I would go to a local junior college for training. After some HVAC training, my wife and I moved to Lubbock and I began working for Aire Serv training under arguably the best A/C man in west Texas, Ronnie Daniel. After three years under his wing my wife and I were able to purchase the company from him and here we are today as the proud owners of Aire Serv South Plains!
