Kala and Angel were great to work with! I had makeup done for myself and two of my bridesmaids, and hair done for all four of us. Kala was flexible with scheduling as we sorted out if one bridesmaid could or couldn’t do makeup (skin condition). I provided examples of styles I liked and had ample time to discuss options with Kala that best suited my face and the style of my dress. My bridesmaids didn’t have reference pictures, but Kala was so adept at leading the conversation with them that they both got beautiful looks that suited them perfectly AND product recommendations to help their skin. All of our looks held up through the whole night without a single smudge! Angel’s work on our hair was similarly impressive. My sister’s and I have hair that is notoriously hard to style. Angel successfully curled and pinned and braided all of our hair in ways that were unique and beautiful, and held up through dancing and being grabbed at by excited toddlers. We got so many compliments throughout the night! If I have an event where I can use the services of these fine ladies again, I absolutely will.

Kala is absolutely amazing. She did my makeup and hair for my July wedding and I was blown away by how amazing it looked. I was worried about it lasting in the heat and humidity, but it lasted all day long! I was nervous because I didn't know exactly what I wanted my hair to look like. Kala worked with me to try several different hairstyles. She was always encouraging, and helped me find what I wanted and made it beautiful! Kala was super friendly and fun to be around. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. Kala is amazing and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for your hair and makeup needs. You will not be disappointed!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a "trial" with them so we can practice the hair & makeup look before the big day. I go over the contract and pricing before booking so they are aware of all information up front.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelors degree in Theatre Education. I took a stage makeup course in college and was a successful Mary Kay saleswoman for a few years. I am mostly self taught. I did hair and makeup for many theatrical productions in college and was nominated for my work.
