ACM waterproofed my basement one year ago. They were fast, professional and neat. Every time it rained, my basement flooded, but since ABM waterproofed, its been bone dry! Outstanding work at a very reasonable price.

Mark, the owner, personally came to access my basement for waterproofing. I did extensive research and had other companies give me quotes. They were sales people that couldn't give me definitive answers. Mark is a straight shooter and he and his crew over delivered on the experience. The team was super respectful of me and my home and left my basement swept clean. I highly recommend ACM.

Mark and his crew did work at my house about two years ago. I had leaks in two rooms in my basement for a number of years and finally got fed up. They installed a French drain system around the perimeter of my basement and I couldn't be happier with the result. Very prompt and professional. This was a very rainy year but my basement is still bone dry. Thanks, Mark!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mark McAlpin, owner of ACM Basement Waterproofing, has been an active member of the Basement Health Association for over ten years. Mark has served on the board of this organization, and has spoken at some of its national seminars in New York, Columbus, Las Vegas, and more. He and other ACM employees have also been named certified waterproofing specialists (CWS) by the Basement Health Association for their attendance of continuing education seminars on the latest innovations in the industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Owner Mark McAlpin started out working with his father as an excavator. It was here that he first began to learn about how water can move on and through the earth to end up inside of peoples' homes. He then founded ACM Basement Waterproofing when he realized that he could help the people of Long Island solve their basement water and basement leakage problems once and for all.
