FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is entirely based on your projects construction cost, or anticipated construction cost, and is derived as a percentage of that cost. Our fee is broken into phases depending on how far you would like me to assist in your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting a project kicked off correctly is critical to the success of the project. I find myself working in 5 phases. Phase 1: Project Kickoff - Initial meetings to discuss project scope, goals, and budget. Phase 2: Schematic Design - Illustrate the scope, and verify that goals are being met. Phase 3: Construction Documents - Accurately draft the scope of the project, final verification of project goals, and provide a budget estimate. These documents will be prepared so they can be submitted to the local permitting jurisdiction, and submitted to contractors for bidding. Phase 4: Construction Administration - Provide on-site assistance, and overview of the contractors on the project to ensure all parties are keeping the project's integrity at the forefront of their priorities. Phase 5: Project Follow-up - Photographs will be taken, and an exit interview to verify the client was satisfied with the project, and the process.
