For local jobs, we charge most of the time hourly rate. (We do provide also flat rate, call for details) The hourly rate includes: *2 movers and 1 truck *3 movers and 1 truck *4 movers and 1 truck This hourly rate also includes: * Mileage * Gas (no fuel surcharge) * Moving blankets * Dollies/hand trucks to maximize efficiency * No extra charge for stairs * No extra charge for extra pick-ups/ drop-offs * Taxes are already included * Professional Movers (certified trained). * Loading and unloading of all items. * Disassembly, reassembly, and placement of all furniture upon delivery. * Fully quilted padding & wrapping of all furniture (Full Packing Service available upon request). * Basic valuation protection. * Carry of items up or down the stairs. * We do have Commercial General Liability, Automobile-Truck Liability, Motor Truck Cargo Insurance. Time starts when our moving team arrives at the loading place and the labor time ends when they finish unloading and setting up at your final destination that day. Anyone looking for an excellent and reliable moving company to move his stuff sufficiently has my recommendation of Direct Moving Services moving company. Not only were they professional and efficient but also they were mindful of time. In just a couple of hours, they had wrapped and loaded all our belongings ready to move to our new location. The items were moved to our new home at a considerably perfect time as we had wished and there was no damage or breakage to report on.

I would definitely recommend Direct Moving Services guys to everyone who may need a good moving company. They were on record time and even showed up a little early which is very unlikely for moving companies. Then they packed my stuff up nice and neat and didn’t even charge extra for it. Then they went on to move my stuff within a matter of ours. I had time to go to the grocery store and that was it. They pulled into the new house right behind me.

I was very happy with the overall move. The thing that I was most happy about was that everything was so straight forward. They guys got everything moved efficiently and there were no hidden costs at the end of the move. Everything was straight forward with no problem. I have had numerous companies try to charge me for extra things that I did not ask for or see done in the past. Thanks again Direct Moving Services.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We inform the customers about our policy and what is included in our quote. We keep in touch with the customer all the time. Here's what we would need from you to reserve the move: 1) Your full legal name 2) Exact pick-up and delivery address 3) Extra stop address if is applicable 4) Desired pick-up and delivery dates 5) List of items to be moved 6) Best contact phone number and email address 7) Deposit of $50.00 to secure the reservation if this is minimum hourly rate and 25% deposit from the visual estimate. The remaining balance is due after the completion of the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every mover and foreman have at least 3-5 years of professional moving experience. Most of our guys have worked nationally and are happy to stay close to home. We do special training for new employees also. High School Diploma or GED is a prerequisite for employment, as well as background screening. Once we hire a new member to our team we have them do onsite training for packing and moving before we have them in the field.
