WOW!!! Tremendously talented, purely professional, and extremely entertaining!!! After reviewing many options, I had the pleasure of working with Anton for a private party in Greenwood Village. We were looking for a highly skilled musician to decorate the event with the sound of the violin. Anton is truly one of a kind and a master of his skill. He plays with such passion, delight, and enthusiasm
all of the guests were smiling, dancing, and complimenting his incredible technique! Anton was exceptionally punctual, set up quickly, played the perfect selection of melody, gathered his equipment, and was on his way as the party was winding down. Besides his astonishing skill, Anton is such a kind, detailed, and caring individual. He made sure that the entire night went smoothly and to perfection. Thank you Anton for the beautiful memories of a beautiful evening! You are simply the best and I am looking forward to working with you on many future events!

Anton is obviously very skilled and puts a lot of emphasis on music theory and foundations. He was helpful at helping me understand the basics, as a student who has no music background.

Anton Smirnov has performed several concerts in a number of venues I have been honored to host or attend. His performances as a solo violinist are none other than that of a skilled master. His devotion to technical precision coupled with his engaging personality serves to make a connection and communication with his audience that is well deserved.
Whether accompanying or leading he demonstrates an ability to work with others to consistently produce the highest quality music, and musical experience.
Anton is serious as a performing artist, which I am convinced is born out of his reliability, dependability, and timeliness, but most all his dedication and devotion to music and his art. It is always a pleasure to work with and see him perform.

Anton is a very dedicated teacher who taught me to believe in myself as a musician which gave me the confidence I needed to persist in my studies. He taught me a sound technical foundation as well as musical interpretation at my level of ability. He also exposed me to relevant literature about playing violin and these books, written by legendary teachers, significantly broadened my understanding of playing violin. None of my other teachers considered my brain and musical ability worthy of the investment of that much resources. Anton set no upper limit of what I should expect of myself as a violinist and I feel that he set no limit on himself as my teacher. If he had not moved away, I would still be his student and now would probably be considered a competent amateur violinist.
