Pet Sitter Extraordinaire serving Cleveland’s city center and east side. Professional in-home pet care for all kinds of life - any size, temperament, or species. PAWS offers a FREE no-obligation consultation visit to meet you and your pet(s). Services include: Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, Pet Taxi, Vet Chaperone, and Postoperative care. *Licensed, Insured, and Bonded* *Pet CPR and First-Aid certified* I bring a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animal species to PAWS. Besides growing up with (and still having) many pets, I have college training in animal behavior and biology, as well as 8 years of practical experience working with no-kill animal rescue organizations in Illinois, New Jersey, and now Cleveland (Euclid Animal Shelter). I have done pet healthcare, socialization, adoption, fostered many homeless pets, and worked with animals of all temperaments. I am also Pet First Aid and CPR certified. I am extremely confident that I can provide your pets with the companionship and same quality of care that you do. It is my goal to help you keep your pets happy, healthy, and safe by providing exceptional care in your home.

I hired PAWS to walk my dogs during the day - I work long hours some days and the pups not only need a bathroom break but some stimulation and exercise. Phil is great with the girls - firm but loving and when I come home at night, they are much less rambunctious. He even asked me about any training they are familiar with and works to reinforce positive behavior. My most recent dog was a pain-in-the-leash but in just two weeks with Phil, it has become much better. I'll definitely keep using PAWS.

Phil establish a good rapport with my 3 dogs on his first visit. He had to provide post surgery care for a puppy and routine exercise for 2 adults. He was responsible and communicated with me after each visit.

Phil, the owner of PAWS, responded very promptly to my request and was easy to set up a consultation visit with. In speaking with him during the consultation, I felt very comfortable with his ability to look after our cats and our home. Phil understands that interacting with cats isn't the same as interacting with dogs, which I appreciate. I found him professional, intense yet friendly, and most interested in the best way to engage with my cats and their different personalities.

Phil is fantastic! He has several animals of his own, and he brings the care and attention that he provides his own animals to the animals in his charge. I know that when Phil watches or walks my dogs that when I get home I will find two happy pups.

I offer a free no-obligation consultation visit where I come to your home, meet you and your pet(s), learn the logistics of their care, and set up the schedule of visits with you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD in Archaeology that included coursework on animal anatomy, biology, and behavior. I also have over ten years of practical experience working with no-kill animal rescue organizations and shelters, including the Euclid Animal Shelter right here in Cleveland. I also have my own pets: two dogs, two cats, and a red-tailed boa constrictor.
