FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For wedding and event planning and coordination, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, a 25% second payment halfway through the planning process, and the final 25% payment one month before the event date. For decor rentals, florals, photo booth services, and other offerings, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due one month before the event date. We also offer multi-service discounts for clients booking multiple services with us. Additionally, we proudly provide military and veteran discounts for those with valid military ID, which must be presented at the time of booking. These policies help us ensure seamless coordination and transparency for all our clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Consultation: We begin with a consultation, either in person, virtually, or over the phone. During this meeting, I gather details about the customer’s vision, event goals, budget, and any specific requirements or preferences. Customized Quote & Agreement: After the consultation, I provide a detailed quote tailored to the customer’s needs. Once the quote is reviewed and approved, we finalize an agreement and secure the booking with the required deposit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 29 years of experience in the event industry, which has provided me with extensive hands-on knowledge and expertise. I strongly believe in the importance of continued education to stay ahead in this dynamic field. I’ve completed Certified Wedding Planning classes and regularly attend industry events like the Wedding MBA Conference to learn about new trends, pricing strategies, and innovative practices. I also invest in the growth and development of my team by encouraging and supporting their participation in educational opportunities that enhance our services and products. Beyond that, I am a speaker and author of the book "How to Weather the Storm: A Guide to Working Weddings and Events After a Disaster," which reflects my commitment to adapting and thriving in challenging situations within the event industry. This combination of education, training, and real-world experience equips me to deliver exceptional results for every event I plan.
