Kookaburra Realty & Construstion, LLC is a family-owned business started in 2017 located in Braintree, MA. We work in and around the South Shore of Massachusetts. We are a Licensed Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor and a Lead Safe Renovator. Our staff also includes a licensed Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor allowing us to work on both Residential and Commercial projects big or small. We can also help with your property management and handyman service needs. It is our belief that the building process begins most successfully with pre-construction services that will afford the advantages of a contractor's experience and point of view. While the Limited Liability Company was only recently formed, we have been in the construction and property management business for the past 15 years. Our personal attention and proven team approach will ensure the successful completion of any project.

Sean was a pleasure to work with on our basement renovation. He is very realistic about the time frame of projects. So often contractors make empty promises about when the job will be complete. Sean was always ahead of schedule. Sean is also very knowledgeable about renovations. He has the ability to see the finished project and was a great guide in allowing us to make the proper decisions for our basement. Finally he is completely upfront about cost and didn't tack on any additional fees! I highly recommend Sean for your home renovation. My husband and I are very happy with his work!

Working with Kookaburra was a great experience. From the start, he gave me several great ideas about my unfinished basement, to the finish work.....always there when he said he would show up ......finish product was on time and on budget!!! Sean took on a home project (installing a suspended ceiling) that a previous contractor could not complete. Sean was able to the finish the ceiling work quickly and his price was reasonable. He professionally communicated all concerns and risks of the project. The new installed ceiling looks beautiful. I plan to hire Sean again.

I can't say enough good things about Sean. He is very professional, always on time and quick to respond to questions via email, text or over the phone. He has remodeled a kitchen in a condo I purchased and made recommendations that didn't add to the overall budget, so he made those recommendations because that's how he would have done it if the property was his. Since I didn't live in this condo, he sent daily updates with pictures. I would hire Kookaburra Realty & Construction and Sean in a heartbeat.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do my best to send you a price that's inclusive of all the minor things that will come up so you are not consistently getting change requests to fix minor issues. Unfortunately, not everything can be covered and when they are not, I'll communicate those issues directly to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been doing construction for over 20 years on both my own residential and commercial properties. I rent many subsidized properties in the area and are fully aware of the HUD standards to complete work as required. I also work on flipping homes and building properties to a very high standard to get top dollar for these properties. My experiences will help guide you to the type of work you want completed.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a kid, I worked with my uncles on their home renovations and my father's commercial property that was damaged by a fire. For the past 20 years, I've been working on my own residential and commercial properties.
