Robert was a consummate professional and showed his dedication through and through. My piano was not an easy one to tune and repair by any means; and he stuck it out and made sure it was available to me as promised. He even sketched a detailed illustration of what and how he repaired mechanical issues so I knew exactly what he did and what to look for. I recommend him highly.

Robert arrived right on time and performed a magnificent job of piano tuning. The piano (a Yamaha Grand) had been sitting idle for two years. In a little over three hours he worked his magic and gave it back it's wonderful voice. Thank you Robert. Highly recommended. David

My piano needed a lot of work because the last tuning was ten years ago. Robert responded quickly and evaluated my piano thoroughly. He gave me a bid and got to work right away. I was nervous letting him take parts to grind the felt. He came back a week later and leveled the keyboard, equalized it, and tuned it. It sounds fabulous! I forgot how beautiful it can be. He even polished the wood. I’m excited to play it again!

Mr. Harker seems very knowledgeable about piano mechanics and had lots of suggestions that needed to be done to my very old piano before he could tune it. But he fixed the damper pedal and gave me what seems to be a fair estimate.

I give free estimates and discounts to churches and schools. My pricing is extremely reasonable and competitive.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I travel to the customer's home, do a free assessment, make whatever recommendations are indicated and we decide together the best path to move forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a piano major at West Virginia University and later went on to apprentice and study piano technology. I have 22 years practical field experience.
