Introduction

I offer "drop-in" alterations. This means that you come and we complete what needs to be done at that time. This can be done for small alterations. Alterations, Mending and Restyling~ Adding pockets and repairing favorite items are my specialty. Over 40 years experience. I have five sewing machines. You can use one of mine or bring your own. Classes can be individual or group. My students are all ages and genders. Classes are also available in cooking, mosaics, jewelry making, origami and furniture refinishing classes one-on-one instruction Day and early evening lessons available I love making beautiful items for the home. Happy to teach and do custom work. Everyone wears a mask.

I went on Thumbtack to find someone experienced in skirt alterations (waistband) and found Linda. She answered my request very quickly and was the lowest of the three quotes I received. I was pleased to hire Linda and went to her home for the alteration. She altered it right there during our appointment. I left an hour later with the skirt completely finished. Linda was very thorough, friendly, professional and really knew her work and I highly recommend her for alterations.

I brought my 16 year old to Linda for sewing lessons as she is interested in pursuing fashion design. Linda was patient with my teen and gave her every confidence that she could sew! My daughter also had a pot holder and two pillows to show for her time with Linda. Well worth it!
