- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is hourly and covers tools ladders, hardware, taxes, insurance and partially travel time. My rate is $145 per hour. I do not charge for travel time, however, if you are more than 30 miles from me I do charge a $50 trip charge. A second installer, if needed will vary per hour depending on the job. NO SHOWS will incur a $145 fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally get an idea of my clients needs by reading the specifications they submit through Thumbtack., I respond with an estimated time and include any clarifying questions or sometimes request pictures to get a clear understanding of what is involved, gather their information and schedule a time to meet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by 15-20 interior designers definitely played a huge role in what I do. I also earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art with emphasis in Visual Communications and a Minor in Art History. I have also been framing and hanging art (conservation grade) for over 25 years specializing in specialty work such as; object framing, display creation, french matting, shadowboxing and design.
