FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is always transparent, and without hidden fees. I always provide a full proposal including a fixed cost of investment, timeline for the project, and an outline of exactly what you're getting I never go over budget because I simply don't bill in a way that will allow for it - the cost of investment, and the agreed-upon deliverables area always agreed upon upfront.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically begin with a few short calls where I learn about your business inside and out. Understanding your business and business needs allows me to suggest a web solution that fits your business and solves your problems. I then submit a full proposal outlining schedule, exactly what you're getting, and a fixed cost of investment. Once that's all agreed upon, we move to design. Design starts with the home page, and then approval is requested on the look and feel of the website. As the website progresses approval might be asked for at steps along the way to make sure everyone is happy with the result. The project ends with the completion of the website and/or search engine optimization. You'll likely want to be on a care plan to pay for web software licenses and security, hosting, web domain name etc. More info here: tollewebdesign.com/care-plans/
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been dabbling in web design for about 10 years but pursuing it professionally as an agency owner for only about one. I began my more serious pursuit by building a website for my church in 2014 and realized that I had a talent for this line of work and began to seek more client work. In 2017 I formed an LLC and started taking on clients regularly.
