Great experience with General Sod and Landscaping. They were quick to respond to my original request for a quote. I got good advice on the type of grass that would work best on my lawn (pro vista). When the crew had a mechanical issue with their equipment I was informed right away and work commenced the next morning. Sod install was done quickly and efficiently. Their foreman spent a good amount of time with me testing all sprinklers in my yard to make sure they were functioning and hitting all the new grass. Every question I asked was promptly answered. Highly recommend this team for sod install!

General Sod was great. We're about two weeks removed from an install at the house and after watering twice daily, we have thick, healthy grass that's completely transformed our yard. These guys are super busy so recommend you allow flexibility in your schedule when you book them but once they show up and knock out the work, they make great spaces at an affordable price.

Fantastic experience, hands down. Gave me the best estimate for the work (though I read this on other reviews, I still called around and came to the same conclusion). Alain, the owner, was very responsive, polite and easy to work with. The lawn was destroyed by my previous tenants so had to have it completely redone with new sod installed. I live out of state but communication was great. I was updated throughout the project and photos sent. Due to really bad luck, the sprinklers stopped working that very same day after the sod was installed. Turns out, the well was dry because of the severe drought this yr in the area. Since this was very time sensitive (the sod needed watering ASAP), Alain was extremely responsive, able to get his sprinkler guys out right away to address the problem and get the sprinkler plumbed to city water and also fix the damaged sprinkler heads (which unfortunately seems to be common with this type of work). Until there was access to city water, he even sent one of his guys out to hand water the new sod! He's licensed, insured, and has 30 day warranty on his sod. Would not hesitate to use him in the future and recommend him to anyone needing a new lawn.
