- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am currently offering a flat 25% off across the board (or we can discuss other ways of structuring it as I build my reputation on a new board) - I also offer a project-dependent money back guarantee if youa ren't satisfied with my work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It greatly depends on the project and where they are at with it. Contrary to what thumbtack thinks here, some things can be fixed or talked about with just 20-30 minutes on the phone, and others involve a few site visits!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been programming since I was about 5 years old, have run Home Assistant myself since it was a baby, have over 125 connected smart devices in my home, and professionally I work as an integrations engineer for web apps and also IoT/embedded programming
