FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Wedding pricing is currently listed on my website, anna-alethia.com Sometimes I send quotes for weddings with a discount...because its either a date I want to fill, a non-Saturday date, off season time of year, or I'll already be in that area anyways. WI Sales tax is applied to all purchases if the client lives in Wisconsin.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial contact, most likely by email or here. 2. setting up a date and time to either meet in person, or over facetime/skype etc. to discuss details, timeline, what to expect from me, details of the contract etc. 3. Client is sent a link with an electronic contract and invoice to pay deposit online. 4. Client reads through contract, contacts with any questions, signs contract and pays deposit at earliest convenience to reserve date. 5. We go from there as far as photographing/videographing the event, session, wedding etc. I go into great detail in the in person meetings as far as policies and expectations. No surprises here. :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My dad taught me film photography long ago. I took a digital photography class in college to help me convert from film to digital work. CreativeLive is full of interesting webinars, and I've been to a few photography conferences. I read professional photographer magazines cover to cover and take notes.
