FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined by several factors: age, location, accessibility, complexity, quantity, and scope of work. Because every project is different, we cannot provide blanket quotes. However, for no cost we can assess your project, review the scope of work, and determine within 48 hours what the cost will be.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every year we are re-certified by The ReUse People of America to ensure we comply with deconstruction best practices and standards. We are proud to be the only Certified Deconstruction Contractor in Utah. We also stay abreast of state licensing and continuing education requirements to maintain our B-100 license.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was disheartened by the amount of perfectly good material that goes into our landfills everyday. Whether you think about it from an economic, social, or environmental standpoint, our status quo of throwing things away isn't sustainable. It only fills landfills sooner thereby creating a need for more dumps and higher dump fees. It keeps useful materials out of the marketplace where they could help those on limited budgets improve their standards of living. And it forces our industries to extract more raw materials from the earth to make the same things that we are throwing away. it simply made no sense to me and I wanted to provide a way for others to be more responsible with their projects and excess materials.
