I contracted with Whitney from a referral. Whitney assisted a friend with both packing for her move out and organizing her closet for her move in into her new place. I live in a different city and couldn’t assist and Whitney managed everything from coordination of services, communicating progress, and the outstanding services she provided. Thank you Whitney!!

Our family needed a professional organizer to help us transform our unused closet in our last home into an art nook for our two boys. Whitney was great to collaborate with and we loved that she did the organizing, design and shopping for us. She was able to see our vision and bring it to life just as we had imagined. Then, when we moved into our new home, we asked her back to get our garage organized. She made that dreaded task much more enjoyable and helped conquer the project in one day. We can’t wait to work with her again!

My experience with Simplified Austin was excellent in every way. We are beginning a remodel and had to sort through, empty out and organize 4 rooms + several closets of stuff. Whitney pretty much single handedly packaged, labeled, donated and organized all of our belongings and helped settle us into a smaller area of our home. This sort of thing is not our forte but is definitely Whitney's. She is such a hard worker--calm, efficient and so pleasant to work with. We are extremely pleased with the work of Simplified Austin and will definitely hire them again on future projects.

Whitney was great to work with. When she walked in Saturday morning, there were boxes everywhere! She said, don't worry, it looks crazy, but it's going to be great. I asked her to focus on the pantry, kitchen and master bath. She also had great suggestions! By the time she left, I felt like we were in a great position to enjoy our home!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $75/hour for our Thumbtack customers. You will never pay for any time we spend designing your space or shopping for supplies, only the time we spend working in your home.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will schedule a quick phone consultation to learn more about your project, then schedule a free in-home consultation to come see the space(s) and develop a plan to get it organized. Once you've signed off on the plan, we will schedule a date to get started! You can work alongside us or let us tackle the whole project for you. Our goal is to make getting organized as simple and painless for you as possible!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Simplified Austin is a proud member is NAPO (The National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) and The Inspired Organizer Program. I have completed many training courses through these programs. I also have a degree in Elementary Education and spent over 12 years in the classroom. I am a life-long-learner who is always seeking out the latest research, trends and best practices.
