Introduction

Our firm is geared towards helping our clients formulate their vision and that in turns becomes the goal of the project. I thrive on the research phase of the process; offering selections which fulfill the objectives, in budget and on time. I love the interaction of meeting people and the psychology and communication during the Design process. Most of our clients are repeat and referral and become love g term relationships which we value tremendously.

Mindy Meisel has done several projects for our family, and we consider her our go-to person for any design project we may encounter in the future. Our first project with Mindy was a 5200 square foot remodel in Austin. She and her team planned, designed, created, built, and installed the majority of the furnishings, wall treatments, window treatments, and lighting. She is focused on every detail, and her artistic creativity really becomes apparent in unusual accents such as custom shower doors and iron lighting she designed and had fabricated. She even designed drapery rods and had them made when we could not find something appropriate for the difficult to install location. We loved her work so much that we also worked with her on a remodeling some features of our ranch house in Oklahoma, then a full -out, from the ground up, interior design of a mountain home in Colorado. In each of these homes we were thrilled with the results obtained, and find her work to be not only beautiful and creative, but most importantly for us, she makes sure everything is thoroughly comfortable and liveable, and with style that will remain fresh for years. Overall , I loved working with Mindy Meisel, and hope to have a new project soon to collaborate with her again. She is seriously dedicated to producing a beautiful outcome in a timely manner, and leaves no stone unturned to find just the right accent to make each room really shine. If anything arrived damaged or in less than perfect condition, she quickly and efficiently arranged the replacements needed. I cannot think of one thing, after three projects together, that I would have wanted her to have done differently. She was able to understand what we wanted, find things that made our vision much better, and put it all together with timely precision.

A talented husband and wife team who produce beautiful projects. We were pleased with the fabrics, textures, and the finished product. They are very professional and were timely in finishing our project.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are current with our licensing and most recently completed "Smart Home Technology classes."
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My husband grew up in a dress fabric business in New Orleans and it was a natural shift when we decided to open our own business. We both are licensed by the Texas Board of Architectural Examineers and love our profession.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of our clients are building new homes or remodeling and need help with construction documentation. My preference is to put the Design Team together pre-construction. The team consists of an Architect, Builder and Designer. It helps to save money when a team is put in place from the beginning.
