Hello, I am Gary Black the owner and operator of Another Handyman & Lawn Care. I believe in being professional, prompt and passionate about what I do, while providing you with the highest level of workmanship for the best price possible. I enjoy working with people and helping them make home improvements. I have been working in the home improvement/real estate industry since 2000. I have been a licensed Home Inspector since 2005, a licensed Real Estate Agent and a specialty contractor so I can help you with many of your needs, whether it's getting your house repaired to put it on the market to sell or day to day upkeep to ensure your house is well maintained. I also just recently became a member of the Association of Certified Handyman Professionals (ACHP). I am always open to working with and showing homeowners how to do odd jobs around the house so that they might be able to perform minor repairs themselves. Gary was very punctual. He did a wonderful job putting together and installing my new ceiling fan. He went above and beyond to get a problem with the fan taken care of. It took additional time that he did not charge me for. He is very conscientious and professional. I will be giving him referrals.

Gary was on time, figured out the problem, went to Home Depot to retrieve the correct part and then proceeded to fix the lock in my sliding glass door in record time. He was very nice and I will definitely use him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try and set my pricing to be fair for the quality work you get from me. You will always have a 6 month warranty on my labor for any job I complete. I am always open to discussion if you feel my pricing is too high so that we can try and work through the issue.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet new customers in person so that they can ask any questions about their project as well ask me any questions so they will feel comfortable with me being their handyman.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I feel my 18 years of experience from building my own log home to helping others is a big factor that relates to my training and work experience. Also being a licensed Home Inspector, Realtor and Specialty Contractor represents the knowledge and education that I have put forth to maintain my growth in the residential market.
