Tim did a fabulous job! He knows about Apple computers and he was so helpful. He diagnosed the problem, corrected it, got the computer working and even cleaned out "stuff"! He was so friendly and knowledgable and encouraging to us. I will definitely call him again if the need arises.

I took my Compaq laptop in because, upon starting, the computer would cycle on and off as it tried to start up. When I first reached out to them, they suggested it might be the hard drive or the RAM. I had tried these repairs; therefore, I took the computer in to have them look at it. I took it in on a Saturday afternoon, and they had a call back to me Monday morning. They were able to determine that it was a problem with the motherboard. I was told the repairs could be done but that, with the price of computers today, repairing might not be the best option and my money might be spent better elsewhere. Tim, the owner, gave me some suggestions for computer brands to try.
Overall, Tim was fantastic to work with and is just a real nice guy. I will recommend him to family and friends. He is knowledgeable, informative, friendly, honest, and timely. You can't go wrong taking your computer troubles to him. I am thankful for the time he spent talking with me about my computer, educating me as to what was wrong, and giving me suggestions for replacing it.

Great people, great service. I had two MacBooks repaired (RAM installation in one, new hard drive in the other) and Tim got them both done in a very short time right before the holidays. Very responsive to email and phone inquiries. Convenient Saturday hours.

I had a cheap USB flash drive that I couldn't power up. The IT guy at my work told me he couldn't fix it and this one is not repairable. I had some important school work and pictures, which I hadnt back-up somewhere else. After calling a couple of computerrepair stores with no luck, I decided to post my request on Thumbtack. Mentzer Repair Service was the only one responding. I send him the flash drive and got a call the same day he received my drive. I was so happy when he told me he could fix it. The next day he told me that he made a CD with all the information and even fixed the flash drive. Im very satisfied with the service I received. Not only was he very friendly, but also could he fix something that nobody else I asked could. Thank you very much! I would recommend this company any time!

Tim and his staff have either fixed every computer/X-box/smartphone problem I've brought their way, at a reasonable rate, or have (on only one occasion) told me honestly that it wasn't worth fixing; i could get another one for less money. They are always courteous, honest and informative. So glad I found them in the Ephrata area!
