I contacted Jesse to have the moss cleared from my roof. He came out the next day to do the estimate and emailed it to me as I wasn't home to receive it. The price and services outlined were clear and fair. I accepted and he came out the next day. The before and after pictures he took showed the difference and the roof looked great. The gutters have never been so clean. He also noticed and took pictures of some broken pipe collars that needed to be replaced and provided an estimate. I appreciate him letting me know about this issue so I can have it fixed before it becomes a bigger one. My overall experience with Jesse was super fantastic! He was polite, professional and thorough. He did great work for a fair price. I've already recommended him to a friend. Use JNR. You will be happy you did!

We hired Jesse's company for a roof clean (debris and pine needle removal), gutters and downspouts clean, pressure washing of gutters fascia. Estimate was based on time not task; duration was determined by Jesses' google earth review of the house, complemented by pictures sent by my wife. Jesse was very obliging when requested to provide documentation regarding insurance and bonding. The job was performed by Kevin. Timely, thorough, picture documented (before and after). No mess left behind. Kevin cleaned the driveway, and the deck and was meticulous. He put as much debris as possible in our yard recycle bin, and left the rest on a pile that I had started after the last storm. Billing and paying was very easy via a link to quickbooks (credit card for me), very smooth. An invoice was generated with the word "paid" stamped across it. Excellent experience overall. After years of climbing on my challenging roof, it is time to let the pros do it. I am planning on using this company moving forward.

I've been with JNR Ind. for years and they are outstanding! Job is always well done; great customer care/support, prompt, and when it's time for my next roof/moss treatment (maintance program) calling to ask if we would like to set-up a convienant time for us. Thank you JNR!

I have worked with and gotten to know Jesse Rice well. I first met him in 2004. Right away I was impressed with his attitude and business ethics. He runs an honest business and does not take on jobs unless it is a good fit for his company. He is well respected by competing businesses, his neighbors, his employees and his two son's. Give him a call and talk with him and you can just tell he is a good guy.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Roof cleaning and maintenance. Gutter cleaning, roof repairs, treatments, etc. We offer roof cleaning, moss removal, gutter cleaning followed by a treatment to help with prevention. We use the best method necessary which would be the healthiest option for your roof.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Answer: Good Question! 1. Make sure the person or company is licensed with the CCB. The Oregon Contractors Board makes it really easy to check. All you have to do is go to Oregon's CCB website and type in the contractors CCB# where it says contractor search. It will let you know if they are active or not. Plain and simple, if you hire someone who is not licensed, you take all the responsibility. If they get hurt, there is a good chance you will lose more than just your house. CCB#'s require, that's right REQUIRE, 1 million in liability and an insurance bond, for more than just your piece of mind. 2. As a roof cleaner or a roof cleaning company, one must be licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture if any kind of treatment application is applied. It does not matter what it is, even if it's just hand soap that they claim to kill moss, they would still need the license. Contact us for a good phone # for the DOA to check a license. 3. If they have employees, they will need to show workers compensation on their employees. If they are operating as a sole proprietor and have no help, then they would not need to have workers compensation.
