The guy who came couldn't figure out how to fix my issue so he called his boss who guided him through the issue and fixed it. They only charged me for one hour ($150). Well worth it.

Thumbtack's automated scheduling system causes problems for them because it commits them to jobs at specific times without allowing for a chance to amend the schedule, if necessary. However, they deal with it in a very thoughtful and courteous manner and bend over backwards to make sure the customer is cared for. Good people.
