Working with Lexi and RIcardo was an absolute joy! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable, turned us into dance pros, all while having fun. They were so flexible and made sure all our needs were met. Each week we looked forward to our dance sessions, and each week we left with “homework”. I think recording us at the end of each session was a fantastic strategy so we could see ourselves to make improvements, and also to remember the steps. We did the Dirty Dancing dance during the reception as a surprise to our guest, and EVERYONE was absolutely blown away!!! We highly recommend anyone from beginners to pros to take lessons with the Wedding Dance Whisperer and I promise you will not be disappointed!!! Lexi is an amazing teacher. She is lively, kind, and overall a great teacher. She was patient with me and my husband and worked with us throughout the whole process to help our wedding dance be the best it could be. Lexi made us feel so special and like we could really dance! She is personable and very sweet and even came to our home to do our lessons. We would definitely recommend Lexi for your wedding dance choreography and am very happy we went with her.

Ryan and I had the pleasure of working with the absolute best wedding dance instructor ever for our first dance and her name is Lexi! ❤️😁 We cannot stress enough about how incredible the experience was. From the moment we initially talked to Lexi for our consultation call, we knew we were in the right hands without a question! We were so excited to start our dancing journey! Lexi’s expertise and patience with us - truly remarkable. We did a slow song with a surprise “hip hop number” in the middle - Lexi made the routine so good that all of guests kept talking about how this was the best “first dance ever!” Haha! She tailored the dance lessons to our skill level and our vision - making sure we felt comfortable and confident every step of the way. Her attention to detail is evident in every move and choreography she taught us. Truly what sets Lexi apart from other dance instructors (in our opinion haha!), is not just her technical skill, but, her ability to connect with her students. I always make sure to talk to the couple before we go over pricing to see what they are expecting and how many lessons they may need/want. There are so many different factors that go into choreographing a first dance!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always make sure that we listen to what the couple wants and to make sure to deliver a dance that shows their personalities and love! We look at it as a collaborative process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified ballroom instructor and have worked at the top ballroom studios in NYC before branching out on my own! In addition, I have a Bachelor of Music and Dance from the Chicago College of Performing arts.
