- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always try to figure out what each individual client's needs are before I proceed. I ask them first if they're looking for long-term growth or short-term prep before a big presentation they are nervous about. From there, I I'll do a general session to figure out what the skill level of my client is. We'll do some basic exercises and work on whatever presentation they are currently prepping for. After that, I construct a personalized plan with the client to help them move towards their goals.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say look for someone who makes you feel at ease. Reducing your nerves is a huge factor in making you a more competent public speaker, and you are unlikely to do that working with someone you are intimidated by.
