My experience was a monumental disaster. I had a simple job for someone to come in and regroup my shower floor tiles because some cracks were showing. I should have trusted my gut and kicked him out as soon as he showed his lack of professionalism and idiotic methods. He first started scraping out the grout with a screwdriver and was scraping my black tiles with white streaks. I had to tell him several times to show down and do it carefully. He doesn’t lay down any tarp, has no garbage bags, asks me for my paper towels and then the kicker, HE USES A METAL SCRAPER TO SPREAD THE GROUT. I had to Google a rubber grout spreader to show him wtf he should be using. So once he cleans the grout off what is underneath? My black floor tiles are entirely scratched up over the entire surface. This bathroom is my favorite part of the whole house and I’m absolutely devastated at the damage he caused. I don’t know how this dude has 5 star reviews but they have to be fake. Maybe he knows how to do other things but from what I’ve seen he is a fucking charlatan. A hack. I really hesitated posting this because he’s not a bad person. But if you pretend to be something you’re not and ruin someone’s house, maybe you are a bad person. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAKE CONTRACTOR. LOOK AT MY BEFORE AND ARTER PHOTOS DOR PROOF. After he left he left remains of black grout on my white bathroom tile floors and on my white shower walls. I spent the better part of an hour scrubbing them out so there isn’t more permanent damage. I’ll never make this mistake again. My fault for going with a cheaper guy but also thumbtack wtf?! How does this hack get on your platform.
