- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Carpet cleaning prices: $25 per bedroom and hallways $50 for bigger rooms like living rooms, dens, playrooms $2 per step. Water, Fire, Mold, and Odor are all priced based on each specific job since the price greatly depends on the amount of work that needs to be done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. We have to maintain all of our certifications. We are certified by the IICRC for all the services we provide and have to take classes yearly to keep these certifications. We are also certified by the state of NC for lead paint which also requires a degree of maintenance to keep the license. We also have to keep up with the EPA and their guidelines.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I graduated from Wake Forest in 2010 with a degree in business and struggled finding a job. I moved back home with my parents and began working at the Rainbow International in Wilmington, NC for another franchisee until I found a career. After about 6 months I decided that I had already found my career and stuck with my $10 an hour job as a technician for 2 and a half years. After I learned the business and felt confident in my skills and knowledge my dad and I moved to Winston-Salem and opened a Rainbow International franchise here.
