Introduction

My classes are fun and informative. I give one-on-one training. Our facility is clean and comfortable. I give additional information to my students that no other instructor does. I love my students. I haven't met one student I haven't liked. I just enjoy teaching. It gives me great satisfaction watching my students faces as they learn new things. They always tell me I was the only CPR instructor who was so thorough.

Joanne helped me out when I couldn't make my hospital's blitz for my BLS renewal. Her classes are very convenient in regards to location and times. She also provides practical knowledge in the rescue situations. Thank you for the concise hand outs too!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $55 per person for BLS Healthcare CPR or for Heartsaver CPR. I also train in Heartsaver Workplace and Pediatric First Aid. I charge $65 per person for an individual, or $45.00 for groups.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I belong to the AHA, and I am constantly staying on top of the guidelines. I just went to my training center to review the new guidelines for 2010.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a CNA and realized I didn't enjoy that work, so I decided to teach. I had to be certified in BLS Healthcare to become a CNA, and I decided the two classes I went to, I walked out of them scratching my head saying, "I will never do CPR." It's amazing how many instructors there are out there.
